timolol GFS

This is a beta-blocker eye drop used for treating glaucoma. The GFS stands for gel forming solution. It is a thicker consistency that allows the drop to be dosed only once a day. An inexpensive generic version is also available, but is dosed twice a day.  Timolol GFS is also available under the trade name Istalol.
