Augmentin

An antibiotic pill that is good for skin, sinus, and inner-ear infections. It can cause mild diarrhea. Another oral medication I use is Keflex.

  1. Augmentin is one of the few oral antibiotics I use in ophthalmology. It has excellent skin and sinus coverage, and so is useful for treating hordeolums (infected eyelid glands) and early cellulitis around the eye.
