Alphagan is a fairly common glaucoma drop. It is now available as the generic medication brimonidine.
This drop is fairy well tolerated, though some people may develop a delayed allergic response to the drop after being on it for a long time. You might want to watch my video on glaucoma side effects to see what this looks like.
What about its secondary effect on pupil response? This drop is usually prescribed on those people with small optical zones from refractive surgery. I had this problem myself, and this drop helps quite a bit.
Jorge, that is a very rare use for this medication, so didn’t include it in the printed version of the book. Sounds like it is working, though.
