What’s a Marcus-Gunn pupil?
This is simply a relative afferent pupillary defect (RAPD). When one eye doesn’t see light as well, then the eyes constrict less when light is shined in that eye.
This can be a subtle lack of contriction, so it’s helpful to compare the constriction using the other “good” eye as a control. We do this with the swinging light test.
when you walk along a difficult path its often hard to get there. I am preparing for an exam this Feb. and I find that all this lectures, especially the videos just clarifying everything. It seems to break the dimly lit maze, into a well lit open space that is so much enjoyable and easier for me to move along. Thank you so much.
Short preise answer but highlighting the pathway will als be helpful.
