corneal curvature can be the cause in different case. so there is two causes: small eye and corneal curvature. correct me if i’m wrong
You have axial and refractive hyperopia and myopia.
In AXIAL hyperopia/miopia the EYE is TOO SHORT/LONG.
In REFRACTIVE hyperopia/myopia the REFRACTIVE POWER of the eye (mostly of the cornea) is TOO SMALL/BIG.
