I have had 5 eye infections in 3 months.
Each always present the same way:

    1) greenish discharge in the inner corner of the eye. Then redness appears on the whites of my eyes. I have been to 3 different eye doctors and I’m getthin a little discouraged.
I’ve been on Quixin, Zymax and Tobradex with Steroid shot because one doctor thought it could be allergic conjuctivis.

  3. This many bouts in such a short time argues against an infectious component (i.e. likely not viral or bacterial conjunctivitis).

If I were to guess, based off your brief description, I’d say you have either: allergies, dry eye, or blepharitis.

  4. I have swelling on my upper right eyelid.
    there is some itching
what should I use for treatment?
I have put warm compresses on the eye lid
and it does give me relief.

Sandy Howard, sounds like you have Angular blephiritis. I get it sometimes & I use erythromycin eye ointment 2 x a day. Works great & soothes the eye(s). Right now though I have allergic conjunctivitis & doc prescribed Crolom or Cromolyn 4% eye drops. My eyes feel better all ready after 1 dose. But this is similiar to blephiritis!! Good luck.
