What are the 8 structures you describe on slit-lamp exam?
Performing the slit-lamp exam can be difficult at first, as there is a lot you can miss. It’s important to do it in a systematic fashion. Start from the front and work your way to the back of the eyeball. Here are the various structures you need to describe:
EXT: external exam
LL: lids and lacrimation
CS: conjunctiva and sclera
K: cornea
AC: anterior chamber
I: iris
L: lens
V: vitreous
Wonderful. Thanks.
