This book is ideal for an iPod Touch or iPhone application. I’d pay up to $10 for this. With time, drawings could be accompanied with photographs of real cases thus making it more valuable.

I stumbled upon your website after looking for the right educational site to encourage learning and to make ophthalmology fun for those that like it, but don’t love it as much as I do. I laughed, and shared your amazing teachings! How can you not get comfortable in learning from a blow up doll?!?! In serious setting of healthcare you bring a breath of fresh air and comfort in learning. Thank you and I hope too in the future I can make teaching & learning a fun experience. I love bringing the love when a lot of people bring the …yes serious but oh so funny. I works for us like minded scholars that thrive off the entertaining learning. When it resonates in awesome, it sticks and provides a comfortable experience. YOU BE THE MAN!! Thank again for making learning fun!! I don’t usually share educational information if it doesn’t pull at the heartstrings and encourage excellent care, your approach never had me second guessing!!! PREACH on you amazing professor of fun and true learning and sustainability. Eye simply LOVE it all!!!!

    Awesome videos and audio!

  47. This book is amazing! Highly recommend it to everyone before their ophtho rotation!

Another resource that may be of interest to medical students is The Lens (www.lensophthalmology.com), a weekly email newsletter that provides brief summaries of recent high impact ophthalmology articles and provides links so students can read full versions of the articles that catch their interest.

  48. To be honest, in med school, I was exhausted by the unenjoyable ophtho lecture notes. After reading his book, I found a deep interest in Opthalmology after reading his book.
