multifocal contact

This is a contact lens that is designed to improve both distance and near vision. The contact has separate zones of focus to accomplish this, arranged in a concentric ring like a fresnel lens.  The downside to multifocal contacts is that they may not work perfectly for everyone and they are not quite as clear as a regular contact or glasses. The alternative is monovision, with one eye set for distance and the other set for near.
