What are the layers of the lens and which are removed in cataract surgery?
The lens has three layers. The outer capsule, middle cortex, and the central nucleus. In cataract surgery, a hole is made in the front capsule, and the inner cortex and nucleus are removed. The new implant is placed inside the remaining capsular bag.
It is a wonderful website. It makes Ophthalmology fun to study.
Sir, why the implant does not move inside the capsule? What holds it?
This Web site is Great for Medical student ,it`s make it easy to learn ophthalmology in Creative Method ,I think the Clinical education program must goes through this way , not just full your mind with non usable things and after exam put all data in recycle bin!!
