3D Eye Animation
This is a pretty good eye anatomy video. Normally, I’m not a big fan of computer-generated graphics like this … they usually seem to have been constructed by grad students for some corporate website (and aren’t helpful).
However, this one is actually pretty good for a number of reasons:
1. It shows a couple of important layers underneath the retina: Bruchs membrane and the pigment epithelial layer
2. It demonstrates how light signals travel UP to the surface ganglion layers of the retina before propagating to the optic nerve.
3. I like the animation showing the ciliary body and zonule connections.
